		<title>Polvarth Ladies and Warrior Men become new champions</title>
		<description><![CDATA[LADIES
After coming third last year, the Roseland&#8217;s Polvarth ladies came back determined this year to beat the previous champions, Falmouth. After a photo finish, it was determined that the Polvarth beat the Famlouth&#8217;s Irene Too &#8216;by their fender&#8217;. Kensa finished third.

		<title>Mens&#8217; Heat 1</title>
		<description><![CDATA[The swell dies down a little for the start of the mens&#8217; round one.
1/2: Irene Too has a strong lead. Emma Louise follows, with the Kensa, Tregarthen&#8217;s and Warrior fighting for third.
Finish: Irene Too increase their lead. Kensa overtakes Emma Louise who fall back level with Miller&#8217;s Daughter. Warrior and Tregarthen&#8217;s battle for fifth.

		<description><![CDATA[The ladies&#8217; long race starts with a lot of swell.
At half way, the Kensa leads by a length. Irene Too and the Defender are tied second.
3/4: Irene chases Kensa and pulls away from the Defender by 4 lengths.
Finish: Kensa, 3 lengths, Irene Too, close third: Defender, Irene and Polvarth.

		<title>Championships off to a good start</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Friday&#8217;s weather was looking rather poor, though forecasts said it was supposed to improve. Luckily, it did, and the veteran&#8217;s races, which grow in popularity each year, took place underneath a wonderful Scillonian sunset.
